Valerie is an aspiring filmmaker as well as an actress and voice-over artist. Born in Moscow, Russia, she came to the United States with her mother, Zina, and twin sister, Jane, as a toddler where she grew up in the suburban town of Bensalem, just outside of Philadelphia.

 

A love for her craft deepened after deciding to leave behind a medical career in respiratory care to test the waters of the entertainment industry. Soon after this decision, Valerie became a part of several student film projects, eventually landing small rolls in TV and film. She moved to New York City in hopes of furthering her career in independent cinema and commercial work.

 

Valerie has also written a book and produced a trailer for her production called "Luna" - an adaptation of her favorite fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast. Her work has been recognized at several film festivals - winning Best Trailer at the International New York Film Festival, Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, as well as at the Aphrodite Film Awards. 

 

She is immensely passionate about writing, improv, and directing with a special interest in working with comedic material. She loves reaching deep down into her inner child and playing characters that are idiosyncratic and over the top.
